General Terms and Conditions for Banquets
Hotel Restaurant Seemöwe AG | Valid from June 1, 2025
1. Number of Guests
The final number of guests must be communicated to us no later than 5 days before the event. Up to 2 guests who cancel at short notice on the day of the event will be covered by Seemöwe. All other no-shows will be charged at 100% of the menu price.
2. Room Rental / Night Surcharge
Depending on the event room, a room rental fee will be charged. Due to additional staffing requirements, a night surcharge of at least CHF 100 per hour or part thereof will be charged from midnight onwards.
3. Decoration / Menu Cards
A simple decoration with candles and standard menu cards are provided by the hotel. Upon request, we are happy to arrange special floral decorations or exquisite menu cards by arrangement. These expenses will be charged separately.
4. Accommodation
We are happy to reserve hotel rooms for you and your guests so that the event can conclude comfortably the next day. Please make reservations well in advance.
5. Parking
We have a large number of parking spaces, including for buses. These are available free of charge to you and your guests. We kindly ask buses to register at least 24 hours before arrival.
6. Menu Discussion / Consultation
We are happy to assist you with the planning and organization of your event. The menu must be communicated to us no later than 21 days before the event.

7. Cancellation Terms
Cancellation of a definitively confirmed banquet requires written notification. The following costs will be charged:
15–30 days before the banquet
75% of the confirmed menu for the stated number of guests and 50% of the booked hotel rooms.
8–14 days before the banquet
80% of the confirmed menu for the stated number of guests and 75% of the booked hotel rooms.
0–7 days before the banquet
100% of the confirmed menu for the stated number of guests, 100% of the booked hotel rooms, and an estimated beverage charge of CHF 25 per person.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The legal relationship between the contracting parties is governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is Kreuzlingen TG (8280).
9. Validity
These Terms and Conditions are valid from June 1, 2025, and replace all previous versions. Changes are reserved. The current Terms and Conditions are available at reception and at seemoewe.ch/agb-bankett/.
