General Terms and Conditions for Hotel Rooms

1. Reservations / Contract Formation
A contract is formed upon unconditional acceptance and confirmation by the hotel. The specific services are governed by the reservation confirmation.
If the guest registers additional persons, the guest is liable for the entire invoice amount resulting from the reservation.
2. Arrival and Departure
Check-in from 3:00 PM, upon request and subject to availability also earlier. Check-in until 8:00 PM at the latest. In case of later arrival, the hotel must be notified; otherwise, the hotel is entitled to rent the room to other guests.
Check-out until 10:00 AM. Late check-out is available upon request.
3. Taxes
In addition to the room rate, CHF 3.50 in taxes per person per night will be charged: CHF 2.50 for the TourismusBeitragTG and CHF 1.00 for the OSKAR guest card.
4. Payment Terms
The hotel is entitled to request a deposit of 70% of the total price or a credit card guarantee upon contract formation. Any deposit must be paid within 10 days. In case of non-payment by the due date, the hotel is entitled to cancel the booking and charge cancellation fees after a grace period of 5 days has expired.
5. Payment Methods
The final invoice must be settled upon departure, in cash (CHF or EUR at the current daily exchange rate) or by card. Accepted payment methods: Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Postcard, American Express, REKA.
6. Cancellations
Individual Reservations (1–5 rooms)
Up to 24 hours before arrival: free of charge
From 24 hours before arrival: 100% cancellation fee
Small Group Reservations (6–9 rooms)
15–30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
8–14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
0–7 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee
Cancellations of individual rooms from 2 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
Group Reservations (10 rooms or more)
31–60 days before arrival: 30% cancellation fee
15–30 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
0–14 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee
Cancellations of individual rooms from 2 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
7. Hotel Liability
The hotel is liable for items brought in by the guest in accordance with statutory provisions. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. No liability is assumed for services provided by third parties.
Damage or defects must be reported to the hotel immediately; otherwise, claims can no longer be asserted. Claims against the hotel expire within 6 months after the end of the contract.
Valuables must be deposited in the in-room safe or at the reception. No liability is assumed for valuables stored elsewhere.
8. Guest Liability
The guest is liable for damage caused negligently or intentionally in the rooms, throughout the hotel premises, and to materials provided by the hotel (e.g., e-bikes).
9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The legal relationships between the contracting parties are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Kreuzlingen TG (8280).
10. Validity
These Terms and Conditions are valid from June 1, 2025, and replace all previous versions. Changes are reserved. The current Terms and Conditions are available at the reception and at seemoewe.ch/agb-hotel-room/.
